If you’ve been following Vitality’s progress this year, then you already know that we’re on a mission to upgrade everything. From the quality of our fabrics, to our product design, all the way down to the sustainable clay desiccant packets that you can now find in our shipping bags, we’re leveling up across the board.
And now we’re bringing this make-it-better attitude to Vitality’s men’s pieces. The Traveler May ‘23 collection includes four new men’s basics: the Navigator Jogger, Navigator Short, Adapt Tee, and Adapt Tank. Each represents a radical upgrade in quality and performance, and to illustrate just how radical, we’re going to do a deep dive into the Navigator Jogger.
The Navigator Jogger was engineered to fix pet peeves you didn’t even know you had.
“We made sure every detail was accounted for,” says Vitality’s Director of Product, Alexa. “The fabric is top notch—so stretchy yet so durable. We made sure to choose a knitted fabric with a high content of lycra to make sure these pants were super comfortable. The fabric is composed of 75% nylon and 25% lycra. Lycra adds stretch and nylon offers elasticity while also providing rugged durability and resistance to tears and abrasions. We wanted to make sure the weight and composition of this fabric was substantial as these styles are intended for indoor AND outdoor activities. Then we added antimicrobial (AKA 'anti-stink') properties.”
“We gave them a relaxed fit that’s still slim throughout the leg so it hugs the body in the best possible way, and we added a curved yoke seam at the rear for shaping and detail. We went through a few rounds of fits on this style to make sure it was perfect! The curved yoke seam on the glutes is a game changer—it looks so good!”
“Then we gave the elastic waistband the flexibility to change the drawcord to the interior of the waistband if desired. We even thought through the drawcord itself, giving it a high content of spandex and specifically choosing plastic drawcord tips as opposed to metal so they wouldn’t be uncomfortable while running.”
“The joggers have secure-zip pockets so you don’t have to worry about your keys or phone falling out, and the elastic at the leg cuff is super flexible but strong enough so the customer can wear the cuff higher on the leg if they want.”
Our new Navigator Jogger will launch 5.23.23 along with the Navigator Short and the rest of our Traveler May ‘23 collection (at 10 am MT, with Early Access for text subscribers from 9:30–10am).
The Navigator Jogger and Navigator Short will be available in sizes ranging from XS to 4XL and available in Navy, Concrete, and Midnight.
