"First off, I desperately wanted to love these pants — the color, fabric and fit are great. However, the way the back pockets were sewn on does NOT work if you want to wear them high-waisted — they gape terribly. I am between sizes so did size up, but they are long, even for someone 5’7”, and I don’t think they look nice low-waisted on me anyway. Since I loved them so much and thought they would look better without the gaping pockets and high on the waist, I carefully seam ripped the pockets off, but since the fabric is GARMENT washed (which it didn’t specify in the product listing, I just thought the FABRIC was washed), the underneath was darker in color than the rest of the pants. I washed them but it didn’t fix this discoloration. Pretty annoyed. Might take to a tailor to sew them back on to sit nicely while high-waisted, but not sure it’s worth it at this point. So sad because they really could have been perfect."
